For Such A Time As This
This is the picture of our sweet Mocha. We had her for 15 years and had to put her down this past April. Right after her passing, when I walked into my little piano room and saw her empty dog bed, I just started to ball my head off. And as I was crying, the realization of how fast time was going hit me.
I asked myself, "How many really strong years do I have left?" I knew there weren't many decades left. Especially when 15 years goes by so fast. Where will I be in the next 15 years. Where will I be in 30 years? Will I even still be alive?
Then, I walked over to the piano, and the Lord gave me this song: For Such A Time As This.
PRAYER:
Dear God,
You are our amazing Father and giver of life!
Each of us is on our own amazing journey, and every part of our path is shaping us to be the person You want us to become. thank YOU, Lord, for helping us to see. You tell us "we're a vapor and a mist. Here today and gone tomorrow." Yikes! That's not encouraging at all!! LOL!
So please Lord, with all the distractions that mean absolutely nothing. Reveal to our hearts where You want us to be and more importantly who You want us to be...engulfed in Your Glory - so You can do what You want to do in and through us.
Continue to reveal how much You love us... so much more than we could ever think or imagine. May Your power and might, the Glory only You can give, fill our hearts so we can walk out the Divine plan you have for us.
In the mighty name of Jesus! AMEN
FAITH IN ACTION:
I love the entire Word of God. How He equipped every person to just take one step at a time as they listened to His voice. And I especially love how in the New Testament, as He revealed Himself to so many, His glory literally transformed the depths of who they were. As you continue reading God's word, what stories speak to your own heart and why?
As you're sitting or standing there, put out your hands like you're receiving a gift. And just ask the Lord to give you more of Him and whatever He would like to reveal to you. Let's watch and see how God opens doors as you walk in Faith to where He leads you, because you're here for such a time as this!
For in Him we live and move, and have our being.
